Jake is a charming, funny and sweet 15 year-old. His day revolves around school and video games. He dreams of writing and creating his own comic book. Joining The Troop is natural for him, he was born to catch monsters. Because he finds it so easy, Jake sometimes gets over confident, which is always noticed by his fellow Troop members.

Hayley is pretty, nice and very popular at school. She's a very busy 15 year-old who is a member of lots of clubs and teams. She has a busy social life filled with friends, parties and endless phone calls and texts. With all this going on it's a wonder that she still manages to chase monsters with The Troop. Although she is quite girly, when it comes to catching monsters there is no one tougher than her.

Felix is a genius. There isn't a scientific theory that he doesn't know. He finds it hard to mix with people and his honesty sometimes attracts funny looks from his small group of friends. The Troop means a lot to Felix as it's the one place where people understand him. He loves hanging out with Hayley and Jake even though his jokes don't always go down that well.

Mr Stockley is the adult advisor to The Troop and he takes his role very seriously. However, his one true love is school administration. Every day he dreams of becoming the school headmaster. He doesn't talk much about his personal life but it wouldn't be a surprise to find out that he has a crush on one or two of the other teachers in school.
