Ranger is a third-generation Normal Street resident who’s been Gortimer's best friend since birth. Characterized by his puppyish enthusiasm and loyalty, as well as his aptitude for "mess-around time," Ranger is often a source of comedy, but he shows his diligent side while working in his family's bakery.
